I have always been passionate about music. I truly believe that coaching singing, voice and piano, allows others to experience that passion and build their own.
Throughout my career I have had the pleasure of working with some incredibly talented coaches in all disciplines. I am always in awe of their generosity when coaching and teaching, and this is something that I hold as a core value when working with clients.
I hold multiple qualifications relating to voice, music and teaching: BA Hons in Music from The University of Liverpool, Vocal Process Accredited Teacher, Vocal Health Education First Aider.
My learning journey has been wide and varied. I started my formal musical education at the age of 6 when I started my Piano lessons, and my enjoyment of performing music flourished from there.
Whilst music shall always be my first love, I have a great many interests. I’m an avid gamer, crafter, tennis player. I thrive on being part of a community, and building friendships and connections not just through what I do for a living.
ABOUT ME
As a singing and voice specialist I work with a vast array of clients who are all looking to understand or improve their instrument.
As someone who thrives on community connection, I love working with large groups of singers. I have been blessed with a multitude of opportunities to do this over my career. I work with 3 different community choirs, all of which have create different opportunities to try new music, new styles, and create their own lovely communities that thrive outside of rehearsals. From musical theatre productions whilst working in schools or with Stagecoach Theatre Arts, to workshops with Stoke Sings, to the thriving choirs, I relish the opportunity to impart joy and knowledge to other singers.
Performance has always been a large part of what I love to do as a voice user. I have had the privilege to perform as a soloist, and as part of an ensemble at venues across Liverpool and Merseyside. My personal highlight was being invited to sing for a charity event at The Royal Liver Building.
Now, I regularly performs with The Baker Street Belles, a vintage vocal trio who were formed during Lockdown 2020. Find us on YouTube and Facebook to see what they’re up to. #
I also have the occasional and brilliant opportunity to sing as a solo vocalist for Out Of The Blue Jazz Orchestra. This vibrant jazz orchestra perform regularly at Heswall Hall as part of their monthly jazz nights.
